Introducing Radar 2.0

October 23, 2026

The biggest update in Radar history brings a brand new Home, an upgraded Discover, an overhauled Social section, and so much more.

Radar 2.0
Radar 2.0 is available today on the App Store.

Today, Paradox releases a new version of Radar, rebuilt from scratch to help you keep track of everything you watch, read, and play. The update makes Radar faster and more fun, with a whole new suite of features for free and Pro users.

"When we first launched Radar, we had a vision of building an app that makes it easy to find things to do while keeping up with the people you care about most. Today, that vision finally comes to life. Radar has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to be faster, easier, and packed with revolutionary new features, like offline search."

Welcome Home.

Radar’s new home view makes it easy to figure out what to do with your time, including:

  • Upcoming Releases: See which items in your library are releasing soon.
  • Ready for Review: Just finished something but didn’t have time to rate or review it? Radar keeps track and reminds you later.
  • Pick up where you left off: Shelves for items marked In Progress and Up Next make it easy to finish what you started and choose what’s next.

Social Features, Not Social Media.

Radar’s new social feed shows what your friends are up to in the order it happened, with no algorithm deciding what you see. Every card is a moment: a finished show, a new rating, or a revisit, like a rewatch or a re-rate.

From any card, you can add an item to your library or a collection, or share it with anyone, even if they don’t have Radar. Profiles now include Showcase, so you can bring your favorite items front and center.

"Something we're especially proud of is how we run Radar. Paradox is completely independent, with no outside funding, and your data stays private. It's never shared with or sold to anyone. I truly believe that putting our customers above everything else is what will make Radar the best app on earth."

Goodbye, Dewey Decimal System. Hello, Library.

With a brand new design, Radar’s library is packed with features that make it work for you, including:

  • Unlinked Items: Don’t be limited to what Radar knows about. Add anything as an Unlinked Item, even completely offline, and it syncs across your devices when you’re signed in.
  • Collections: Group items however you like, or start a shared collection to build a list with friends.
  • Private Notes & Tags: Jot down notes only you can see, and organize everything with tags.
  • Hidden Items: Keep anything out of sight, locked behind Face ID or Touch ID.

Discover What’s Next.

We upgraded our search section to a full discover view to surface what’s really trending on Radar. We use a wide variety of different engagement signals to bring you trends that are as accurate as possible, and not just based off a single metric.
