Radar for Business Terms of Service

These terms cover your organization's use of Radar for Business during the beta. By creating or joining an organization you agree to them on its behalf.

Effective November 4, 2026

1. Who These Terms Cover

These terms are between Paradox Technologies Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business in New York as Paradox Technologies NY (“Radar”, “we”), and the organization named in Radar for Business (“you”). Each person who uses Radar for Business for the organization (a “member”) agrees to them as well.

  • Radar's Terms of Service still apply. Your Radar account stays under the Radar Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict with these terms on business use, these terms win.
  • Access is by invite during the beta. Radar chooses who joins and may end the beta at any time.

2. Authority and Accurate Details

The person who creates an organization confirms they can legally act for that business and bind it to these terms.

  • Accurate details. The name, legal name, website, phone number and address you give must be true and kept current.
  • No impersonation. You may not create an organization for a business you don't represent, or claim items that aren't yours.
  • Records. Radar keeps who confirmed authority, who accepted these terms, the version and when.

3. Verification

You agree that Radar may check that your organization is real and that you represent it, using the details you gave.

  • Phone. Radar calls the number you gave with a recorded code only when you ask for the call, and asking is your consent to it.
  • Mail. Radar may mail a letter with a code to the address you gave.
  • Website. Radar may check a DNS record you add to your domain.
  • Documents. Radar may ask for business documents and review them by hand.
  • Outcome. Radar decides whether to verify, may ask for more, and may verify again later or remove verification.

4. Claims, Edits and New Items

Claiming an item lets you suggest changes to it; Radar Data stays Radar's catalog, and Radar reviews every change.

  • Review. Radar may accept, change or reject any claim, edit or new item, and doesn't have to say why.
  • Revocation. Radar may remove a claim at any time, for example if another business shows a better right to the item.
  • No exclusivity. A claim doesn't give you ownership of the item's page or stop other people from rating, reviewing or saving it.
  • People's own content stays theirs. You can't edit or remove what Radar users write or rate.

5. What You Submit

You keep ownership of your logo, images and text, and give Radar a license to use them in Radar.

  • License. A worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable and sublicensable license to host, store, copy, adapt (for example resize or reformat), publish, display and distribute what you submit, in Radar's apps, website and Radar Data, and to let service providers that host Radar store and process it for us. Radar doesn't sell or share it with anyone else.
  • It continues after you leave. Edits Radar accepted into Radar Data may stay after your claim or organization ends.
  • Your name and logo. You let Radar show your business name, logo and trademarks to identify your business and its items in Radar. This ends when your organization does, except where they're part of edits that stay in Radar Data.
  • Your promise. You have the rights to everything you submit, and it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
  • Radar's name. You may say your business is on Radar. You may not use Radar's logos in a way that suggests endorsement without our written OK.

6. Insights

Insights are aggregate and anonymous: they show how many people saved, finished or rated your items, never who.

  • No re-identification. You may not try to work out who a person is from Insights, alone or combined with other data.
  • Permitted use. Use Insights to run and improve your own business. Don't resell them, publish them as Radar's figures, or use them to build a competing product.
  • Thresholds. Radar may hide or round small numbers so no one can be singled out.
  • No guarantee. Insights are estimates and may change or be corrected.

7. Your Team

Your organization is responsible for everything its members do in Radar for Business.

  • Owners and admins choose who joins and what role they have, and should remove people who leave.
  • Invite links are personal. Each link is for the email it was sent to; don't forward it.
  • One owner at a time. Ownership moves only by transfer, and the owner is Radar's main contact for the organization.

8. The Beta and Business Pro

Radar for Business, including Business Pro, is free while it's in beta, with no card required.

  • Beta means unfinished. Features may change, break or be removed, and Radar doesn't promise to keep data from the beta.
  • When the beta ends. Radar will tell you at least 30 days before any paid plan starts. Nothing is billed unless you add a payment method and agree to the price.
  • Offers for beta members. Radar may offer organizations that joined during the beta a discount or free period on Business Pro. Any offer will be set out when it's made.
  • Separate from Radar Pro. Business Pro doesn't change any member's personal Radar Pro subscription.

9. Suspension and Leaving

Radar may suspend or close an organization that breaks these terms, gives false details, or puts Radar users at risk.

  • Notice. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell the owner why and give a chance to fix it first.
  • Leaving. The owner can delete the organization at any time in Settings. Its claims and memberships end; accepted edits to Radar Data stay (section 5).
  • What survives. Sections 5, 6, 10 and anything that by its nature should continue after the organization ends.

10. Disclaimers, Liability and Changes

Radar for Business is provided as is during the beta. Radar's total liability for all claims is limited to the subscription fees you paid for Radar for Business in the 12 months before the claim.

  • No promised results. Radar doesn't promise more customers, saves or ratings.
  • Indemnity. You'll cover Radar's losses and reasonable legal costs from claims about what you submit, including intellectual property claims, or about your breaking these terms or the law. Radar may run the defense, and you can't settle a claim in a way that binds Radar without our written OK.
  • Changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of material changes; members accept the new version before continuing to use Radar for Business.
  • Governing law. New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in New York County, New York, and both sides agree to those courts.
